Throughout the 2009-10 WHL Season WHL WEB TV will highlight some of the Western Hockey League’s brightest future stars. On this edition of WHL WEB TV – Rookie Watch we feature the Portland Winterhawks Ty Rattie. The Winterhawks’ top pick of the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft, second overall, appeared in 10 games as a 15-year-old last season scoring his first career WHL goal. He recently represented Team Pacific at the 2010 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and led his team in scoring picking up nine points in five games. During his first full season in the WHL, Rattie has appeared in 40 games and currently sits 15th among WHL rookie scorers collected 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) thus far this season.
