The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club would like to congratulate Brandon Glover on signing an amateur tryout with the Abbotsford Heat.

Glover, a native of Victoria, British Columbia, registered a 1.87 goals-against average and 0.941 save percentage in the 2012 WHL post-season, allowing seven goals on 118 shots-against in 224 minutes played.

During the 2011-12 regular-season, Glover was named both the VAUGHN WHL Goaltender of the Month and Ed Williams Player of the Month for November.  The 19-year-old netminder posted a 6-1 record through November and led all WHL goaltenders that month with a 1.96 goals-against average and 0.933 save percentage.

The Heat close out their six-game home stand on Tuesday and Wednesday by hosting the Rochester Americans.
