Rebels Still Number One
The Canadian Hockey League¬'s number one ranked team is still the Red Deer Rebels, despite the Western Hockey League team¬'s three-game losing streak this past week.

rFor the sixth consecutive week, the Rebels managed to cling to top spot in the weekly rankings, selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts. Despite their recent losing skid, the defending 2001 MasterCard Memorial Cup Champions still lead the WHL overall standings with a record of 15-4-3-0, good for a WHL best 33 points and a WHL best .750 winning percentage.

rRounding out the Bank of Montreal MasterCard Top Rankings for Week 6 from the WHL, the Swift Current Broncos fall two spots to sixth and moving up to spots to seventh are the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
