REBELS DOWN OIL KINGS – Patrik Bartosak stopped 36 of 37 shots he faced to backstop the Red Deer Rebels to a 4-1 win over the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League action on Thursday night.

Rhyse Dieno scored three goals and Turner Elson also counted while Brooks Maxwell picked up two assists for the Rebels (25-18-3-2), who were outshot 37-29 in the contest but come away with their second win in three games. 

Keegan Lowe netted his 10th goal of the season for the Oil Kings (30-10-2-3), who were blanked on both of their power play chances as they see a three-game win streak snapped.  Laurent Brossoit made 25 saves in the setback.
