ROCKETS TAKE DOWN ‘TIPS – Ryan Olsen scored twice and added an assist to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a 4-1 win over the visiting Everett Silvertips the lone Western Hockey League contest on Thursday.

Colton Sissons scored and set up two more, JT Barnett notched his 12th goal of the season and Myles Bell picked up a pair of assists for the Rockets (42-13-3-1), who went 3-for-5 on the power play as they post their second win in a row.  Jackson Whistle made 20 saves to earn his 13th win of the season.

Landon Oslanski scored his 14th goal of the season for the Silvertips (21-32-1-4), who see their losing skid hit eight games.  Daniel Cotton turned aside 27 of 31 shots he faced in a losing cause for the Silvertips.
