The WHL This Week - Radio Edition takes a closer look at the upcoming 2009 SUBWAY® Super Series in Victoria and Kelowna, BC. Edmonton Oil Kings defenseman Mark Pysyk will play in both games against the Russians. He will be our guest. Director of Scouting for Hockey Canada Al Murray is making his list and checking it twice as the World Junior Selection Camp approaches. Murray will talk about the selection process. Finally, Brandon Wheat Kings forward Matt Calvert will join us. Calvert had a big week capturing both the Boston Pizza WHL and CHL Player of the Week honours.
